Site Investigation
We carry out coring, trial pits, logging, CBR and surface modulus testing, and PAK testing to understand existing pavement conditions and support the right design approach.
Pavement Design
Using site investigation data, we provide pavement and surfacing design advice to recognised standards including DMRB, TRL 611 and Interpave Heavy Duty Pavements. This allows us to value engineer the most effective solution for performance, cost and carbon.
Lightweight Deflectometer (LWD)
A Lightweight Deflectometer (LWD) is a portable, non-destructive testing instrument used to rapidly measure the surface modulus of soils, unbound materials and recycled materials such as HBM and Eco-Phalt. The test is carried out and reported in accordance with national and local standards, including the MCHW and BS 1924, and is significantly faster, safer and more resource-efficient than traditional plate bearing methods.
BIM and Digital Delivery
Our BIM-aligned digital engineering capability supports construction-stage assurance of levels, geometry, tie-ins, drainage and buildability, helping reduce risk, improve quality, support cost control and reduce waste.
